InstructureCon 2024: Canvas Conference
The TMI team is headed to InstructureCon, the premier global conference for all Canvas users in early July. Help us build our schedule by checking the event agenda for interesting topics and then drop us an email.
New Academic Integrity Platform
The Academic Technology Committee (ATC) made a near unanimous decision in recommending Copyleaks to the Office of Instruction for the new academic integrity software solution for use within Canvas. Copyleaks will replace Unicheck during the Summer 2024 semester.
New Quizzes Pilot
TMI is currently facilitating a small scale pilot of New Quizzes for Canvas with a group of faculty volunteers. New Quizzes is expected to be available for all faculty for the Summer 2024 semester and beyond on an opt-in basis. Questions? Please contact tmi@2i1be.com.
Discussions/Announcements Redesign
Visual interface and feature improvements are coming in the Summer of 2024 (July 20th) to both Discussions and Announcements. Check out the recently released Discussion Redesign notes and video from Instructure's Product Blog.
Lucid Education Suite & Canvas
All Canvas users have access to the Lucid Education Suite within Canvas, via the Rich Content Editor. The Lucid Education Suite comprises Lucidspark, a collaborative virtual whiteboard and Lucidchart, an intelligent diagramming application. Read more...
